Keld Rosenbaek Demant

Acting Managing Director

A Bachelor of Commerce, Management and Marketing and an Executive Management from INSEAD, Keld has been working in the bunker business since 1998. Before joining Global and the USTC group, Keld worked at Alfa Laval and Novadan in Denmark. In his spare time, Keld enjoys sports such as handball and running. Keld speaks the Scandinavian languages, German and English.

Jan Knudsen

Executive Sales Director

Born 1966

A Bachelor of Finance and bank educated, Jan has been involved in finance and risk management for over 20 years - including 12 years at Danish bank Sydbank. Jan is a frequent speaker at oil industry events and offers bi-annual hedging courses at Lloyd's Maritime Academy in London. Originally from the German-Danish border area, Jan speaks fluent German, Danish and English.

Morten Rudebeck Henriksen

Comfortable using English and any of the main Scandinavian languages, Morten has been involved in finance and risk management since 1992. A Bachelor of Finance and bank educated, Morten spent over a decade at various Danish banks (such as Fionia Bank) before joining Global.

Leon Samsø Pedersen

A Bachelor of Business Administration, Leon served over 20 years as a financial management consultant in the utility, telecoms, banking and insurance industries before joining Global. A fluent speaker of English, German and the Scandinavian languages, educated in Danske Bank. Leon has considerable experience regarding transforming business needs into business solutions. A pasionated golf player.

Morten Groenbech Terp

Morten has been involved in finance and risk management since 1998 and is a Bachelor of Finance. Joining Global after 9 years with Danish bank Sydbank, Morten speaks Danish, German and English. Morten keeps fit through karate and rarely misses a home match at Vejle, his local Danish football club.

Robert Svarer Olsen

Involved in Finance since 2005, Robert spent 2 years as an analyst at Energi Danmark before joining Global. A keen hunter and angler, Robert gained his Master of Science in Finance and International Business in Aarhus(Denmark) and Saint Mary’s University in Halifax (Canada). Robert speaks Danish, English and German.

Dennis Lysemose Andersen

Dennis has been working in the shipping industry for some 14 years. Before joining Global, Dennis was Regional Director with GE SeaCo, the world's largest container lessor. An International Marketing graduate, Dennis is a devoted Alfa Romeo driver and keen wine enthusiast. Dennis speaks English, German and the Scandinavian languages.

Thor Thim

Born 1981

Thor is a Bachelor in Business Administration from Aarhus School of Business, Aarhus University and has been living in different European contries for nine years of his life. Thor speaks Danish and English fluently. Thor enjoys a variety of sport activities and when time allows it, Thor spends as much time as he can on the Croatian peninsula Istria. 

Patrick Ng

Graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor in Maritime Transportation and has been working in the marine and shipping industry since 1997. Previous employment includes TOTAL LUBRIFIANTS S.A. and other shipping companies, i.e. including sailing with A.P. Moller onboard bulkers, tankers and container vessels.

Caner Seren Varol

A current member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society of Istanbul, Seren holds dual Bachelor degrees in Biology and Psychology from University of Virginia and has a Finance-Concentration MBA degree from Koc University / University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has extensive knowledge of the Middle East region and speaks fluent English and Turkish. In his spare time, Seren enjoys travelling, socializing and riding his motorbike.

Nadiya Bani

Born 1985 

Nadiya graduated from Singapore Polytechnic in 2005 with Diploma in Business Administration. Before joining Global, Nadiya worked as Sales Administrator at Bauer Compressors. She loves to travel, attend music concerts, yoga and spending time with family and friends.

Torben Kampp Madsen

Financial Manager

Born 1963

Involved in accounting, finance and risk management for more than 20 years, Torben holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School. Before joining Global, Torben was employed with  Fionia Bank. Furthermore, Torben worked  three years in Germany for Nordea. Torben speaks Danish, English and German and enjoys playing football in the local club.

Anne Pedersen

Assistant Risk Manager
Born 1966

Responsible for sales support, Anne applied her accounting skills at a Danish consulting engineering company and at Thule Trailers before joining Global. Anne has been involved in finance since 1987. Anne speaks English, Danish and German.

Marianne V. Thomsen

Assistant Risk Manager
Born 1964

Before joining Global, Marianne was a financial adviser for private customers at Jyske Bank. Marianne has been involved in finance since 1986 and speaks Danish and English. She keeps fit through fitness and enjoys a good game of golf, preferably when the weather is good though.

Lars Rye Helmer

Accountant

Born 1977

Involved in finance since 1998, Lars is a Bachelor of Finance from Copenhagen Business School. Lars joined Global after 10 years with Danske Bank, where he worked as financial adviser and team leader. Lars speaks Danish and English and stays fit through running and riding the mountain bike in the woods around Middelfart.

Thorbjoern Bak Jensen

As well as teaching statistics and macroeconomics at the University of Southern Denmark, Thorbjoern worked on a petrol station forecourt for 5 years while gaining a Masters in Economics and Finance. Responsible at Global for oil market analysis, Thorbjoern speaks both Danish and English fluently.

Jette Frydenlund Joergensen

Marketing Co-ordinator

Born 1967

A keen kayak rower with a Bachelor in English and IT, Jette spent 5 years with Finnish property and construction services group YIT before joining Global. Responsible for marketing and communications, Jette speaks Danish, English, German and – following studies in Madrid – Spanish.
