About the speakers
Julian Lee, Senior Energy Analyst, Centre for Global Energy Studies
Specialist in oil market analysis, Russia, the Caspian Sea and West Africa, producing major studies on the oil and gas industries of these regions. Julian is also Deputy Editor of the Global Oil Report. Julian holds an MSc degree in operational Research from the London School of Economics.
Chris Skrebowski, Peak Oil Consulting
Chris has spent his entire working career in the oil industry split roughly two-thirds as an oil journalist and one-third as a planner/market analyst within the industry. As well as writing extensively for a range of oil industry related publications he has also broadcast on radio and TV on oil and gas subjects.
Jan Knudsen, Managing Director of A/S Global Risk Management Ltd.
Since 1991 Mr. Jan Knudsen has been involved in investment advising and Risk Management at a Danish financial institution, where he was responsible for advising corporate clients in Foreign Exchange and short-term interest rates.
In 1998 he joined A/S Global Risk Management Ltd., where he is responsible for the marketing and business development in the Bunker Risk Management department, which today is one of the leading providers of Bunker Hedging tools for the shipping industry.
