We are looking for an Assistant Risk Manager at our office in Singapore

The overall purpose of the Assistant Risk Manager is to engage in dialogue with management and colleagues to ensure that approved processes can be properly executed and bring awareness to areas of operational risk. 



The position entails a wide range of responsibilities within:

  • Client onboarding
    • KYC check
    • Document creation (Master Agreements, ISDA, CSA etc.)
    • Liase with legal and compliance officer
    • Registration of terms and credit into operational systems
  • Trade recaps and confirmations
    • Control terms on executed trades
    • Create non-standard confirmations
    • Follow up on client confirmation
  • Statement of Account
    • Run daily Mark-to-Market assessment and send statement of client portfolios
    • Issue margin calls/returns
  • Payment monitoring
    • Monitor for timely payments and inquire on overdues
    • Monitor payment patterns for AML risk and report to AML Officer
  • Support
    • Handle client requests/questions in cooperation with the relevant Oil Risk Manager
    • Keep up to date with general procedures of back office colleagues in order to be able to assist when needed
    • Keep  colleagues in Back Office up to date with procedure changes on areas of responsability
  • Ad hoc tasks
    • Liase with company legal and finance officers in order to handle queries with Singapore authorities and/or auditors
    • Assist Oil Risk Managers on client related matters and/or analysis
    • Participate in relevant development projects regarding IT etc.


 About you
