Global Risk Management has hired new Managing Director for Singapore entity
Amy Barty is the new Managing Director for Global Risk Management in Singapore.
Amy has a wealth of experience within the oil and financial markets and has a Master of Science in Applied Science, specialised in Applied Mathematical Modelling. She comes from a position as Senior Commodity Flow Desk Associate at a large energy trading house in London and will be relocating in connection with the new job in Singapore.
CEO and Managing Director of the Global Risk Management Group, Hans Erik Christensen, comments on the employment: “With Amy on board our group of companies, I am convinced that we are heading for increased growth both in terms of turnover as well as activities, products and services. Amy has demonstrated excellent skills in her previous career and has an extensive network in the business.”
Global Risk Management Pte Ltd was established as an independent entity in Singapore in 2018 as a consequence of growing activities and a wish to underline Global Risk Management’s regional affiliation in Asia. Ahead of the establishment, the Singapore team was a branch office since 2009 to the Denmark-based group of companies.
